ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies, to include supply ordering.
2. Oversees preparation of all dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
3. Responsible for kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
4. Trains kitchen staff on safe food handling practices.
5. Directs productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times.
6. Conducts formal line taste and temperature checks for inventory and safety in the kitchen.
7. Oversees proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
8. Manages prep list and tracks food waste.
9. Performs daily food expiration safety check.
10. Performs all station duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of one (1) year of experience is preferred.
